Now is the time to get your local businesses and residents to register! Use the link below to head to the registration page, select your community, and fill out the registration form to get your scarecrow registered for this year's trail.
This year's theme is America 250. An America 250 Inspiration Guide is available with ideas to help get those creative wheels turning.

There will be food trucks in town on this day and during the event!
The Village will be handing out donuts and refreshments at the Maintenance Building during the event (while supplies last).

Walnut Creek Sewer Board
Open Seat
The Village of Pleasantville is currently accepting applications for one seat on the WCSD Board representing the Village of Pleasantville. This individual will attend monthly meetings representing the Village of Pleasantville and oversee and direct operations and funding for the Walnut Creek Sewer District.
Interested candidates should submit their Letter of Interest and resume to the Village Municipal Office no later than 4:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. The Office is open Monday through Friday from noon until 4:00 PM and is located at 101 S. Main St., next to the Post Office.
Letters of interest and resumes can also be emailed to va@villageofpleasantville.com no later than 4:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
You must be 18 years of age and live within the Village of Pleasantville to apply. The open seat will serve a three (3) year term from 2026 through 2029.
The WCSD Board meets the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM in Thurston, OH.
